PRENATAL YOGA AT HOME
These sessions are tailored to the specific needs of the mother-to-be.
You will learn how to quiet your mind and ease physical discomforts. Now
is the time for you and your baby to bond deeply as you slow down from
the hectic pace of daily living. Your session includes a soothing mother
massage.
Fee: $125.00/1.5 hours
YOGA IN PARTNERSHIP
This is a wonderful way to support each other using Prenatal Yoga and
Tantra. The emphasis is on experiential instruction rather than intellectual
concepts and theories. Marti will guide you through loving communication,
breathing techniques, ritual and meditation. Offer a random act of kindness
and give the gift of love today!
Fee: $150.00 per couple/1.5 hours
THE BLESSING WAY CEREMONY
This is a special gathering in nature to honor a woman close to her time
of birth. I was trained to facilitate these in the Native American traditions.
A blessing way is attended by whomever the woman wishes to invite, friends,
family, and those who may be with her at birth. It is a wonderful opportunity
for the expectant mother to be honored with song, poetry and ritual. Each
ceremony is unique and brings people together in the spirit of friendship
and love. Words of strength and courage are shared to fortify the woman's
spirit for birth. A common ritual is a sharing of birthing bracelets,
handmade from yarn or string, wrapped around each attendees wrist while
they share their personal wishes for the mother's up-coming birth. The
bracelets are worn until after the birth to symbolize unity and continued
good will. I often hold these ceremonies by moonlight and create a fire
pit, symbolizing strength and trust in the great mystery of life. A nourishing
feast is enjoyed by all.
